Wild Youth Action Volunteer

Opportunity image

Norfolk Wildlife Trust is the county’s largest environmental charity, we have been protecting and restoring Norfolk's wildlife since 1926. Across the county, more than 400 people give us their spare minutes, hours, and days on beaches, under trees, among meadows and in communities, schools, and offices. Our volunteers are vital to what we do, in so many ways: leading a wild walk in the woods, checking on our sheep and cattle, or helping us to run fun family activities. We’ll provide full training, and for many roles no prior experience is needed. From one-off days to a regular weekly commitment, you can give as much or as little time as you like.

This opportunity is for a Wild Youth Action volunteer to aid our Engagement team with a variety of tasks including engaging young people aged 11-25 in wildlife conservation activities across Norfolk. The role includes assisting in events, supporting focus groups, and participating in listening activities to foster a deeper connection between youth and nature.

This role is perfect for you if you have strong passion for wildlife and the Norfolk environment, are respectful of others, show responsibility for your own actions, and have excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire young people.

This role is flexible, you can decide which events you want to support. So why not get involved today by reading more about this role and filling out our application form below. Any questions about becoming a volunteer? Just email volunteer@norfolkwildlifetrust.org.uk
